Here’s how I came to this work:
Professionally, I’m a few things:
Licensed Bodywork Therapist (LMP#49494 in CA)
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist (since 2011)
Certified Yoga Teacher (since 2005… and too rebellious to become an RYT)
Council Facilitator in Training (indefinitely)
In 2007, I took my first craniosacral course with the Upledger Institute at the world-renowned Esalen Institute and I knew then that therapeutic, hands-on modalities would be my primary focus working with women.
Since 2012, I’ve been in private practice as a biodynamic craniosacral therapist. I certified with the Pacific School of Biodynamic Integration and Shea Educational Group in 2011.
I’ve accumulated over 5000 hours in bodywork training, given hundreds of hands-on sessions, and continue to study and develop my skills in trauma resolution, craniosacral therapy, council facilitation, and women’s wholistic care.
I previously trained as an acupuncturist, and I'm certified as a therapeutic yoga teacher, licensed as a therapeutic bodyworker, and certified as a biodynamic craniosacral therapist.
I've assisted craniosacral trainings for the past 5 years, including Working with Moms and Babies with Sheila Kean in September 2017.
Once upon a time, I was a health coach, full-time yoga teacher and studio manager, assistant director of a retreat center, and Traditional Chinese Medicine student.
For the entirety of my decade-long career, I have specialized in restorative and contemplative practices, compassionate listening and community building, and wisdom-based healing models focused on women's health and embodied leadership.
